Stitch up a textile memory book to celebrate Mother's Day.
Years ago I made a little memory book for my mother. It had photos of us as children and lovely decorative details I stitched into it. My mother took it everywhere and truly loved sharing it. This little stitchbook is modeled on that one. Built from one length of folded linen, the 5" book has a decorated cover and four pages inside. One has a pocket so that notes, photos and other sentimental things can be stored. When finished, the little book tucks perfectly inside a pretty felt enclosure.
I will send you a maker's kit with a beautifully curated collection of wool felts, linen, exclusive images and photos on fabric, Liberty pieces, floss, vintage bits for decorations, patterns and instructions. There is also a video tutorial to help you each step of the way which you can watch whenever you wish. An optional private Facebook group gives you a place to share questions, support and ideas. I will be available there too.

Through the videos, I'll show you how to build your stitchbook cover to cover, how to transfer and stitch on photos of your own, how to manipulate, alter and layer textiles and then embellish it all with fancy stitches. I'll also show you an alternative version should you prefer to make a sweet needlebook instead. And there are so many ways to personalize the book. Add your own textiles and keepsakes. Theme the book to a grandmother, daughter or new mother.
