It's never a good idea to neglect the blog because things pile up and then it's hard to find a place to get back in. That said, here's a little catch up. I have been busy, so busy. With so many different directions and all of them such fun.
First off, the biggest new news is a sample of my licensed embroidery kit for Dimensions arrived yesterday! It's so thrilling to see it all set and ready to go! It will be in stores this spring and I will be sure to let you know when and where. Dimensions is also a sponsor of our Vermont getaway, fast approaching. They sent an enormous box of goodies to share in the gift bags. Love!
I made the gift bags from my stash of vintage fabrics. Hoping they are big enough to fit everything inside. Might just look like Christmas morning with extra things piled beside each. (Oh- and one of the gift bags will be given away here on the blog!)
Stitching and finishing project models.
Finished my hooked rug and article for the next issue of this magazine. I want to hook more rugs, design more, have time to share more!
Maggie and I had a fabulous weekend visit to see Erin and John Paul in Georgetown for Erin's birthday. Their tiny studio apartment is as sweet as a doll's house. Erin can touch both walls of the kitchen in one reach. Barefoot-in-the-park love. They showed us the White House at night, the town by day. All so perfect.
Beautiful days, moonlit nights. It's my favorite time of year!
Back to prepping for Vermont. It's getting very close now and I have a few more boxes to open, tinkering to do, lists to make. Very, very excited!
And I would really love to sit down and stitch. Just for a minute or two.
Happy weekend enjoying everything and everyone you love!
