I have a new stitch project and sampler. It's been fun to just play around with different stitches and colors. I think these colors are so pretty together like zinnias and summer.

Filling these droplets with some kind of a lazy shortcut stitch I made up, but I like it! Have no idea what that stitch would be called, maybe a cross between satin and couching. Love the dimensional look of it though - even with the pink outline of the design showing. I still might go back to that bird and add more stitches/feathers.
Ah, whatever, it's a lot more fun than taxes.
