Yesterday I ran across this old felty friend in one of my SAVE bins. I'd completely forgotten about it. Somewhere back around '96 I know I was working on it while on a trip with Anne and Barbara to Shipshewana, IN. We were flea market shopping for one of those Saturday Mornings stories for Home Companion. (It's the one issue I don't seem to have.) Made from left-over rug wools and randomly assembled squares, the table mat now looks like perfect inspiration for October.
It's rainy and grey outside. Fine day to get into the wool bin.
A few projects in the making for me .... and then for you.
