I wanted to bring something special back for you from the MEHC Workshops. The program is beautifully done in the style of a special edition Home Companion magazine. There are artists' interviews including one with Natalie Chanin from "the Alabama Stitch Book", a lovely little article about paint boxes and an Ann Estelle Paper Doll along with information for the event.
So ..... when we had our star-studded teacher, lecturer and panelist dinner Friday night at the hotel, I passed my program around the table. A once in a lifetime collection of artists and professionals.
Everyone signed it!
Mary Engelbreit, Barbara Martin, Amy Butler, Matthew Mead, Marcia Ceppos, Kaari Meng, Wendy Addison, Margo Tantau, Kathy Curotto, Linda Solovic, Sheila Meehan, Claudine Hellmuth, Dena Fishbein and me too.
Would you like to win this? Of course you do! Well then, please leave a short comment about your favorite crafting memory (on this post only, please). My new editorial board (Mo, Maggie and I) will read them all and choose a winner on Friday night.
I am adding PDF's (and a few kits) of the workshop classes to my Etsy shop over the weekend. Really. I am.
