It's a spectacular spring here and the trees have flowered far beyond the best ever I can remember. Everyone is outside digging, tidying and planting. That time of year for nonstop busy-ness and certainly there is plenty to do here too. But lately, more than ever, I really just want to be in the studio exploring the dormant layers of vintage fabrics.
I know I could uncover a few lovely projects waiting to bloom.
Still making class kits, all in various stages through the dining and living room like the cottage industry this is. I always forget how much time and space that takes. Sure are pretty though when they stack up by the dozens. I love the part where I peel away the zip-strip, close the kit and add it to the "finished" box. Such a feeling of accomplishment.
And yes, I didn't forget that I promised a give-away here. Maybe tomorrow ..... (fast becoming my favorite response to all good ideas.)
You will never "find" time for anything. If you want time, you must make it. ~ Charles Buxton
** on the subject of fab give-aways, Kim at Daisy Cottage is giving away one of my Happy Day towels ... still time to sign up!
